What is Your Constitution?

Like many of you, I am continually learning about myself as I walk this journey of life – who I am, what I want, and what makes me tick.

Each day, I become more aware of what lights me up, where I lean in and out, what I'm really good at, how my intuition speaks to me, how I know when I know, and where I feel expanded and contracted. The more I step into the fullness of who I am, the more I see what I am capable of creating, experiencing, and becoming,

The deeper I drop in, the more connected I become to a tender and powerful center that lies below the surface under layers of learned conforming and protection. Those unconscious and conscious layers melt away with greater ease as I commit to unplugging from social conditioning and the status quo. As I do, I become more aligned to my unique constitution — my natural condition — why I am here, and what I need to thrive.

When we know, love, and fully accept ourselves, we can know, love, and fully accept others — creating a conscious state of oneness.  When we speak our authentic truth, we give others encouragement to do the same. When we understand our constitution, we empower ourselves to choose experiences that align with who we are and who we desire to become. This is the ever-present unfoldment of human evolution. Growth is on offer each day and it seems to naturally unfold the more commit to knowing what works for us and what doesn't.

Constitution can be defined as:

  • (n.) The aggregate of all one’s inherited physical qualities; the aggregate of the vital powers of an individual, with reference to the ability to endure hardship, resist disease, etc.; as, a robust constitution.

  • (n.) The aggregate of mental qualities; temperament.

  • (n.) The state of being; that form of being, or structure and connection of parts, which constitutes and characterizes a system or body; natural condition; structure; texture; conformation.

Understanding our Constitution is vital for our individual and collective evolution. Identifying our natural condition, the character of our being, and our soul's purpose is a powerful and worthy process that can bring about tremendous transformational change. Knowing who we are helps us be in even more service to each other.

Identify your own Constitution by asking yourself:

  • What are my natural tendencies?

  • What are my unique strengths, passions, and purpose?

  • What activities and relationships expand me and support me to thrive?

  • Where do I naturally lean in? Where do I automatically lean out?

Knowing who you are is one of the greatest discoveries of this life. If you need help discovering your unique constitution, let’s talk. I’d love to support your growth.
